Introduccion
Mi estilo es un equilibrio entre la Libertad infantil y la destreza adquirida tras anos de practica, dando lugar a obras que resultan inmediatas y vibrantes, pero finalmente arraigadas en la disciplina. Cada obra artistica la acompaño de poesía que brota directamente de mi propia experiencia vital, entrelazando imágenes y lenguaje en una sola voz.
Me gusta compartir y conversar con la gente común acerca de mi obra, exaltando mis raíces a través del dibujo y la pintura.

My style balances childlike freedom with the skill of years of practice, producing works that are immediate and alive yet grounded in discipline.
Each artwork is paired with poetry that grows directly from my lived experience, weaving images and language into a single voice.
I like to share and talk with common people about my artwork, exalting my roots by drawing and painting.

Nacida en Matamoros, Esperanza abrazo el arte desde la infancia, cultivando su pasión hasta convertirla en una vibrante carrera como artista profesional. Con su propia tienda en Brownsville, no solo vende materiales y ofrece clases, sino que Esperanza teje la creatividad en cada rincón de nuestra comunidad.

Declaracion del Artista
Durante sesenta anos, el Valle del Rio Grande ha sido mi hogar y mi maestro. Conozco sus plantas, sus animales y su clima como se conoce a su propia familia. Mi arte es un testimonio de esta relación: un retrato de la tierra en mi memoria y como fuente de vida.
Sentirme libre al dibujar constituye la esencia de la manera en que plasmo los motivos en mis obras.
Me gusta crear arte en todos los medios que he aprendido; gran parte de mi obra esta vinculada a la tierra que me vio nacer y a la naturaleza que me rodea.

Artist Statement
For sixty years, the Rio Grande Valley has been my home and my teacher. I know its plants, animals, and weather as one knows family. My art is a record of this relationship: a portrait of land as both memory and lifeline.
Feeling free while drawing is the essence of how I capture the subjects on my artwork.
I like to perform art in all media learned, and much of my artwork is related to the land I was born in and the surrounding nature.

The primary art medium of Esperanza Garza is drawing and painting, besides, she has her own art store in Brownsville, Texas. Selling art supplies, teaching art class and selling her artwork by commission. Esperanza made some exhibits at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brownsville, TX. got an Associate Arts at TSC and made some exhibits at TSC campus, besides she had made some exhibits at UTRGV campus.

El principal medio artístico de Esperanza Garza es el dibujo y la pintura, además, tiene su propia tienda de arte en Brownsville, Texas, donde vende materiales de arte, da clases de arte y vende sus obras por encargo. Esperanza realizó algunas exposiciones en el Museo de Bellas Artes de Brownsville, TX, obtuvo un Asociado en Artes en TSC y realizó algunas exposiciones en el campus de TSC, además de que también ha hecho algunas exhibiciones en el campus de UTRGV.
